Handkerchief bowls are often referred to as fazzoletti, the Italian word with the same meaning. The name comes from the folding effect that results from quickly lifting, from its center, a piece of cloth that is resting on a flat surface. The video conveys the largely unpredictable nature of the process, in terms of the final shape of the object.
